Many quotes are lost not because the client said no, but because nobody followed up. A short, respectful follow-up keeps your quote visible and gives the client a chance to ask questions.
Keep it short and make it easy to reply. For example: 'Hi, I wanted to check that the quotation reached you and whether you have any questions on the scope or pricing. Happy to adjust the scope if the budget is a concern.'
If you can, include a clarification, a sample of similar work or an option at a different scope. Avoid artificial urgency; clients notice it.
If the client declines or asks you to stop, thank them and close the loop. Stopping politely protects your reputation and leaves the door open for later work.
Note the date you sent each quote and the next follow-up date. A simple sheet is enough if you check it every day.
